London Gamers Community
I've started up the 'London Gamers Community'. At the moment its just a small forum, but if that proves successful enough I will expand to offer members other web-based services, and hopefully, meet-ups ^^
Please support us by joining the forum and posting lots ^^ : http://lgc.randomsonicnet.org/forums

Paedophile Teacher in my college
Ok, so I read about this in the Mirror and about how this teacher from my college was downloading kiddy porn onto the computer. I mean, it's already sickening that he even gets pleasure out of watching this, but for him to download it onto a college computer is a bit stupid =/

Hmmmmm, I expect Ruth Kelly will be getting alot of criticism again.

Thank god he got sacked, I wish I saw his pathetic little face though. I think everyone would be worried if a paedophile was in your college/uni/school too. o_o

A D and D/B5 role playing?
Hurrah, I am now officially a London geek!

I desperately looking for an A D and D or Babylon 5 role playing group in Central or North London.

If anyone knows anything, please please let me know. I can't live without role-playing much longer.

Ok, I'm sorry (not really) that I'm a Kiwi not a Londoner, and if it's getting slightly like invasion of the colonies, what with me and that Aussie chick, I'll bugger off. XD
Until then, this is the only decent community I've found for geeks such as I.
Suitably geeky interests include gaming (psx, pc), manga, anime, avoiding sunlight, star wars, sci-fi/fantasy movies/books (blade runner and donnie darko my all-time faves), mucking around with and generally crashing the PC, and need I say more?
Manga I'm reading: Bleach, Deathnote
Anime I'm watching: Fruits Basket, Paranoia Agent, Ghost in the Shell stand alone complex
Just saw: Star Wars 3, nearly hyperventilated, Darth Vadar is soooooooo freaking awesome, and George is officially forgiven for the first two movies.

Well hello... eslington suggested I join this group when I enquired about London geekdom on the girly DnD community.

I'll be moving to London for 6 months (or so) in about 12 days! So I'm looking to find geeks so I won't be geekless when I arrive :)

So yes hello I'm me! My name is Saphron and I'm a bit of a goth and a bit of a metaler and yeah quite random really depending on my mood... I'm only kinda geeky but I'm working on it! I'm an RPG and puters kinda geek I suppose but I love all forms of geek - I find geeks to be the best kind of people... so yeah um hi!

Read or Die!
The UCL anime society is showing Read or Die, one of my current favourite anime, this wednesday at UCL, 4.15pm - 5.45pm. (Near Euston & Warren Street Tube Station)
Anyone interested in coming?

Read or Die is an incredibly awesome action/spy film about a secret agent geek who fights with paper.

Well, I can't really do it justice with my description, but trust me, it's worth seeing.

I guess I should say hi....
I joined a few weeks back. I'm in London (duh!), I'm a gamer-girl who is beginning to develop an interest in anime. Anyone know of good places to find good anime in London, by the way? Do Forbidden Planet sell much?

(It does need to be good though. I'm a student and I don't want to end up buying something crap.)

Uh, yeah. Hello. [sheepish grin]

Forbidden Planet.
There's a new branch of Forbidden Planet just at the top of Shaftsbury Avenue. I took a look today and it's pretty awesome.

Though it was unusual to see Lilo and Stitch under the erotica section. @_@

hey my name is Suzan, i live in Australia, i know this is a foreign community to me but i would like to ask for permission to join anyways, i think the guy who created this community had a brilliant idea, and hey, geeks are always nice people, and why would anyone reject nice people? i can speak proper english,a nd i am not as unintelligent as i may come across, i would just like to have a place to post things where i need advice, or where i can help someone else, your community, well, im from the other side, and i want to show you all that not all "popular" (ew i hate that word) people are nasty sex loving bitchy whores.

awaiting your replies.
